What Are Expert Guides

Expert Guides are educational How To electronic books or "e-books". These e-book guides are designed to be user friendly and are highly visually oriented. The idea is that many people learn by "seeing" rather than by "reading" so Expert Guides are designed to be as informative as possible using imagery as an effective method of relaying information. Containing plenty of screenshots and top-notch instructions, written by subject specific experts, Expert Guides are the best source for quality "how-to" information.

How Expert Guides Work

Expert Guides have many advantages over traditional print media. First of all they are instantly downloadable. The ability to immediately get the e-books means that you don't have to wait to start learning. You can get started right away without the hassle of waiting for a printed book or CD to be delivered (although these options are also available). 

Second, the Expert Guide Reader Software (free with any guide) is deigned so that you can add guides as your needs expand. Giving you a growing, searchable, library of information based on your interests. This unique feature makes Expert Guides a more user-friendly practical application than other e-book guides.

Third, Expert Guides are laid out so that all the information contained within the guide is easily accessible through a clickable menu. No flipping back and fourth through a book or endless scrolling. A simple mouse click takes you to exactly where you want to be.

How the Order Process Works

It is easy to get your Expert Guide downloaded onto your computer just follow the steps of the simple order process.

1. Add To Cart

3. Your Expert Guides Account
4. Purchase Details
5. Order Summary

1. Add To Cart

Add the guides you want to purchase to your shopping cart by clicking on the "add to cart" button or the "buy" button in the description of the guide (for a list of all our guides see the Expert Guides Library).

2. The Shopping Cart

Once you have added a guide to your shopping cart you may add more guides to your cart by clicking on the "continue shopping" button , remove an item from your shopping cart by clicking on the "remove" button or continue on to the next step of the process by clicking on the "checkout" button . At this stage you have made no binding commitments and will not be charged for anything. Click here to view a screenshot.

3. Your Expert Guides Account

On the next screen you will be prompted to create an account by clicking on the "create account" button or, if you are a returning customer and you have already created an account, then you may enter your email address and password and click "submit" . Here you have still not committed to anything and may return to the home page or leave without fear of being charged. Click here to view a screenshot.

3b. For new members once you click on the "create account" button it is simply a matter of entering your email address (this is necessary so that we can email you your download instructions, so be sure to enter a valid email address)  and typing in a password. Click here to view a screenshot.

4. Purchase Details

Next is the Purchase Details screen. First this screen collects some information about you for our records so that we may better serve you. You will not be contacted by us unless you request it and we will not give out your information (for more on our privacy policy click here) follow the onscreen instructions making sure that you fill out all the required fields (marked with an asterisk *). Click here to view a screenshot. Second it asks you to Verify Email Notifications. Here you will choose what type of email alerts you would like to receive. Third you are given the option to order a CD that contains the guides that you are about to purchase. This CD is in addition to the download files not instead of them. Finally,  enter your credit card information. All the information that you send us including credit card and contact info is transmitted to a secure server via an encrypted transmission. You still have not committed to buying any thing at this stage and will not be charged.

5. Order Summary

The next screen is the Order Summary page. This screen shows you your final total, and the information that you will submit to us. This is your last chance to make changes to your order. If you are happy with your order click the "purchase" button . Otherwise click on either "cancel" or "return to details" to change your order. Click here to view a screenshot. If you clicked on "purchase" you will be emailed instructions on how to download your expert guides and your credit card will be charged. Congratulations you have just purchased the foremost, how-to, e-book, guide on the web and you are now ready to become an expert. Enjoy!
